In the Global Siddha Yoga Audio Satsang for New Year’s Day 2011, Gurumayi gave Siddha Yogis  the Siddha Yoga Message for 2011:


The Siddha Yoga Message and teachings in A Sweet Surprise define the essential course of study for Siddha Yogis once again in 2011.

OM  is the primal sound form which the universe emanates; the inner essence of all mantras. Also written aum and symbolized by . OM is also an essential part of the OM NAMAH SHIVAYA: the Sanskrit mantra of the Siddha Yoga lineage - (lit., OM, salutations to Shiva) ; known as the great redeeming mantra because of its power to grant both worldly fulfillment and spiritual realization. is the primordial sound; Namah is to honor or bow to; Shivaya denotes divine Consciousness, the Lord who dwells in every heart.

During all of 2011, Siddha Yoga students will be studying and practicing teachings surrounding in the local Atlanta meditation center as well as all Siddha Yoga ashrams and meditation centers around the world.

There are no special programs in December. You are warmly invited to join us for our regular weekly programs listed below. 

Please note that on Saturday, December 31st from 7:30-9:00 p.m. the regular Saturday evening chanting satsang will be held.


JANUARY 2012

• Shree Guru Gita will be chanted on Sunday, January 1st at its regular time, from 9-10:30 a.m. 

• Sunday, January 1st, 11:30 a.m. - A Sweet Surprise -
In this satsang Gurumayi Chidvilasananda gives the Siddha Yoga Message for the year.

The Siddha Yoga Message and the teachings in A Sweet Surprise define the essential course of study for Siddha Yogis throughout the year.

This satsang is held at the start of the new year in Siddha Yoga ashrams, meditation centers, and chanting and meditation groups and by webcast on the Siddha Yoga path website.

  • The Sunday Shri Guru Gita is chanted from 9:00am - 10:30am , followed by a light breakfast. Shri Guru Gita was acknowledged by Baba Muktananda as the one indispensable text of Siddha Yoga.
