Dear Siddha Yogi,
The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Atlanta is excited to offer two events this year in
honor of Mahashivaratri. The first is the Siddha Yoga Celebration Satsang in Honor of
Mahashivaratri, the great night of Lord Shiva.
Each year Siddha Yogis come together to celebrate this auspicious night that carries
the blessings of a great boon bestowed by Lord Shiva for the benefit of all. The boon is
that on this night, the power of each repetition of the great mantra of Shiva—Om Namah
Shivaya—is magnified a thousandfold.
In this Celebration Satsang, we will listen to a bhajan sung by our beloved Gurumayi,
listen to the story of the “Hunter and the deer,” and chant and meditate.
The second event is a special Chanting and Meditation Night devoted to chanting the
mantra. We are offering these two events to give as many people as possible a chance
to participate.
You are warmly encouraged to invite your family and friends to join you for one or both
of these special celebrations.
For more details about these events, please call (404) 654-3340 or e-mail

Shubh Mahashivaratri!

The Global Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive 2017

- Registration is now available on www.siddhayoga.org

An Invitation from Swami Ishwarananda:
Dear seekers,
Namaste.
With great enthusiasm, I invite you to participate in the Global Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive. Join the many seekers worldwide who will be participating in this grace-filled event. The Shaktipat Intensive will be taking place in locations around the world in the month of October as we honor Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi.
The title that Gurumayi has given for this year’s Shaktipat Intensive is
Breath~Creation
Breath~Maintenance
Breath~Dissolution
Breath~Concealment
Breath~Grace
The Five Acts of Lord Shiva
This is a profound and intriguing title. Many Siddha Yogis have begun to contemplate how the breath—our own breath—relates to the primordial acts that govern the universe.

In studying Gurumayi’s Message this year, we’ve been exploring the breath and investigating how it guides one’s awareness to the divine source within.

Gurumayi’s Message for this year is
Breathe in deeply the fragrance of the Heart.
Revel in the light of the Supreme Self.
Breathe out gently the benevolent power of the Heart.

Your ongoing study of Gurumayi’s Message and her teachings about the breath will support you to receive and assimilate the teachings in the Shaktipat Intensive. A specific practice that will prepare you for the Intensive is repeating the mantra Om Namah Shivaya on the in-breath and the out-breath as you enter meditation. Please read about additional ways to prepare for the Intensive as well as the interview with Swami Shantananda, which may be particularly helpful in answering questions you have. In preparing yourself with intention for the Shaktipat Intensive, you provide fertile inner ground for receiving the gift of shaktipat initiation.

There is no greater boon than that of receiving shaktipat initiation from a Siddha Guru. The Shaktipat Intensive is suffused with Gurumayi’s sankalpa, her intention for us to receive divine grace. In shaktipat initiation, the subtle transmission of the Guru’s grace awakens our own spiritual energy, Kundalini Shakti. This auspicious awakening nourishes our potential to fully reside in our own joyful, loving, divine nature.

For new seekers, shaktipat initiation provides an entranceway to Siddha Yoga meditation and to the inner journey that will unfold over time. For those who have participated in one or many Shaktipat Intensives, each Intensive is a blessed opportunity to immerse oneself in the Guru’s grace, to expand one’s awareness of the divinity within. Often new insights and luminous moments of clarity that emerge during the Shaktipat Intensive propel one further along the path.

This Shaktipat Intensive will take place in Siddha Yoga Ashrams, meditation centers, and chanting and meditation groups around the world. See the locations and dates.

Again, I extend a warm invitation to join with Siddha Yogis and new seekers everywhere for the Global Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive in honor of Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi.
Best regards,

Swami Ishwarananda

Muktananda Dhyana Saptah

Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Atlanta
Saturday, March 25, 2017
8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Dear Siddha Yogi,

You will soon have the opportunity to spend a full day meditating and reflecting on the divine Self.

The Muktananda Dhyana Saptah is a day-long teaching and learning event focused on the Siddha Yoga practices of meditation and silence.

One participant in the Muktananda Dhyana Saptah shared this experience:

“The Muktananda Dhyana Saptah allowed me to renew and honor my
meditation practice  from a more profound place. The practices
throughout the day gradually encouraged me to make peace with  mind
and go deeper into the stillness of the Self. Ever since my participation in
the Muktananda Dhyana Saptah, no matter how much is going around me,
I can turn my gaze within and take comfort in the boundless silence of my
                  divine Self.”

The Muktananda Dhyana Saptah will take place at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Atlanta on Saturday, March 25. Click on this link to download The Registration Form .
